The British Tag

I came across this British Tag when having a browse at Marshmellow's diary and I loved it so much I thought I’d give it a go myself. It’ll also give you a chance to get to know the strong British parts of me!

1. How many cups of tea do you have? How many sugars?

I probably have about 3 - 4 cups a day. When it’s really hot I only have about 1 or 2, depending on if I’m having a hard working day or not. I should only usually have 1 sugar, but when I’m being naughty (most of the time!) I sometimes give myself an extra!

2.  Favourite part of your roast?

Definitely stuffing. It’s always been the stuffing! I would have one massive bowl of stuffing for myself if I could!

3. Favourite dunking biscuit?

Hmmm… Probably Chocolate Digestives!

4. Favourite quintessentially British past time?

Tennis. I loved playing tennis as a child and watching Wimbledon every year.

5. Favourite word?

I don’t really have a favourite word, but my favourite saying (which I say way too often!) is ‘Cor Blimey!’. So typically English… But I have such a bad habit of saying this on a daily basis.

6. Favourite sweet?

Midget Gems!

7. What would your pub be called?

The Fox and Hound. Purely because The Fox and the Hound is one of my favourite Disney films!

8. Cockney Rhyming slang?

Rosie Lee - Tea

9. No.1 British person?

Thinking about it hard… Most likely is going to be Ian McKellen. He plays Gandalf, so he’s awesome.

10. Favourite shop?

Lush. Can spend so much money in there.

11. What British song pops into your head?

Baggy Trousers - Madness. Madness are an English Ska/Pop band who I grew up listening to as my parents are rather big fans. This song was released in the 80’s, so It’s quite an old song but it’s very British! I love Madness so much now.

12. Marmite?

Blah. I find it very yucky!

What are your favourite British things? Do you have a typically British phrase you can’t stop saying? Let me know in the comments!
