Blondies (White Chocolate Brownies)

This is quite hypocritical of me to share with you a really unhealthy brownie recipe, considering my last post was 'Shape Up Sunday', however I did make these before Sunday and I have only just got round to writing about them. So if your trying to lose weight like me, but you love baking, bake these for your friends and family. It's just as fun baking for others and seeing their satisfied faces when they take a bite. Doesn't mean you can't get a taste yourself! Treat yourself to a bite or two, just don't eat the whole thing like I could easily do!

Anyway, here we go! These are my Blondies (white chocolate brownies). White chocolate is my favourite type of chocolate so I couldn't help but make these. The recipe is nearly exactly like a normal chocolate brownie, but using white chocolate instead, simple!

Ingredients:

230g Melted Butter
230g Caster Sugar
4 Eggs
150g Plain Flour
230g Chopped White Chocolate

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 180c. Beat together the sugar and eggs until light and fluffy. Gradually beat in the butter making sure it's fully mixed.

2. Fold in the flour until mixed well, then fold in the chopped white chocolate (leave a few to sprinkle over the mixture later on).

3. Carefully spoon the mixture into a cake tin and smooth down so the mixture is level. Put in the oven and leave for 30 minutes or until a knife inserted into the centre of the brownies comes out clear. Half way through the baking, sprinkle a few more white chocolate chunks onto the mixture. When the brownies have cooked, set aside to cool. Then enjoy!

As these are so simple to make, they are perfect for if you are having friends/family over. So go get baking!

What other recipes should I try? Does anyone have a healthy recipes I could try? Please let me know in the comments!
