Pink Parcel - Shh! It's Something For The Ladies!

This is a Ladies only post, so Men, you probably want to look away now! This is a post about that 'time of the month'! I never would have imagined I would be writing a post about this topic, but that was until I discovered a little thing called Pink Parcel. Pink Parcel is a monthly subscription box, much like Birchbox or My Little Box, but it's all for that time of the month.

At first I was like, 'Really? A box for your time of the month? That's the weirdest thing I've ever heard!', But then I had a look into what you can get, read a few blog posts and then decided it actually sounded great, so I subscribed!

When going through the process of subscribing, you have a choice of the individual or multi parcel. This is basically choosing whether you want the same brand and absorbency of tampons in each parcel or a combination of different types, and yes, they do really send you your months supply of tampons in this box! You then provide your cycle dates so the box gets to you at the right time.

Let me show you what I got in my months box.

As you can see, there are three sections; For now, for later and for you.

For now is about 5 tampons for you to pop into your bag to use straight away. It comes in a lovely discreet black bag so people probably won't realise what it is.

For later is just more tampons ready for when you need them.

So the final section, For you, is a little extra to help cheer you up and make you feel better. I received some Doisy and Dam dark chocolate (which my fiancĂ© will most likely be eating as I'm not keen on dark chocolate!), a teapigs sachet, lipgloss, nail lacquer and L'oreal revitalift moisturiser.

This is my first box, but I believe you get different products each month. I've mentioned I like teapigs before so I was very happy when I saw them in there. The lip gloss however is thick! It's probably too think to wear if I'm honest, but everything else I am very happy with. This box will definitely be cheering me up this month!

I think this is a great idea as it's something completely different to other boxes I'm subscribed too, and it still provides you with the necessary things you need every month, so I definitely think it's worth it. Considering you get your first box for £5.95, it makes it even better! After that it then continues at £9.95.

Are you subscribed to this box? Or are you subscribed to something similar to this? Let me know in the comments!

  1. This 'beauty box' is such a brilliant idea! I thought it was a little odd at first but now i'm really tempted to sign up. I'm already signed up to two others though - beauty boxes are so addictive!
