Shape Up Sunday - Week 4

I guess this week has been a little bit better for me. I've been trying to get organised with my meals and snacking, as I sometimes feel I eat for the hell of it because I haven't had a proper lunch or dinner. I still have been a little bit all over the place at times, but I can definitely say it's been better than last week!

Ahhh.. The weigh in...

My current weight this morning was...

12st 10lbs!
(Last Week: 12st 11lbs)

So I've lost 1 pound since last week, which I am happy about, considering last week I didn't lose anything. I'm feeling better now that I have some organisation in my meals, so hopefully I'll see a bigger difference next week.

My main problem for me, which I have previously mentioned before, is motivation. I keep on having to pick myself back up from a big slump of unhealthy eating. A couple of months ago I got involved in something called 'DietBet', which is a website designed to help motivate you to lose weight. You put a in a bet, then you're set a target weight, and if you reach that weight, you win your money back and more depending on if anyone else reached their targets. Not only is it just involving money, but you also join a community of people who are also trying to lose weight and you motivate each other!

I have been involved in one game before, and I reached my goal weight set for me which was losing 4% of my current weight. You have a choice between either 4% over 4 weeks, or 10% over 6 months. Being in a community of people trying to lose weight, but also having fun getting money involved, made me more determined to lose weight.

I'm planning to join the next 4% over 4 weeks game in a day or two, so hopefully I'll be more determined and will see a difference.
