The Christmas Tag!

Eee it's getting closer to that time of year, Christmas time! I love the glittery decorations and the cheesy songs. I have so much happiness around me when wrapping people's presents, half of them are done already this year! To celebrate it nearly being Christmas I thought I would join in with the Christmas tag which I have seen on a few blogs recently.

1. What is your favourite Christmas Movie?

It's got to be A Muppets Christmas Carol. I have a confession to make... I literally did not know there were any more Christmas carol/Scrooge films, I thought A Muppets Christmas Carol was the only one. The most embarrassing thing is I learnt this last Christmas, when I was 21. Yeah....

2. Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?

When I was younger we were allowed to open one present on Christmas eve, but now I'm all grown up we don't any more! I'm happy opening them all on Christmas day though, makes Christmas more magical!

3. Do you have a favourite Christmas memory?

I don't have too many memories that stand out if I'm honest... Probably the one that stands out the most was a couple of years ago. My brother and I thought we had opened all of our presents, then my Dad comes out and tells us, 'There is one more present for you each. You can either choose to have it without unwrapping it first, or have the value of the present in cash'. This was rather exciting to say the least! In the end I had the present and I was over the moon I chose it as it was a new lens for my DSLR Camera!

4. Favourite festive food?

Most definitely stuffing! Hands down!

5. Favourite Christmas gift?

Ooooo this is so difficult! I love every present that I get! I think the most excited I have been was when I got my first mobile phone. I was desperate for my own as my brother and I were sharing. I got the good old Nokia 3310. Classic!

6. Favourite Christmas scent?

GINGERBREAD!! Got to love some freshly made gingerbread.

7. Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?

Since I was very little, my family and I have always gone to Walton-on-the-Naze for a walk along the beach, and then for some fish and chips. Since being with Nathan I have joined their family tradition too, having McDonalds and watching a film. Not the healthiest of options but I love it!

8. What tops your tree?

At the moment Nathan and I own a pretty shabby chic angel made out of felt. When I was younger my family had this very old angel which would always sit on top of our tree. This angel was getting rather old and was falling apart so we bought a glittery gold star instead!

9. As a kid what was the one crazy/extravagant gift you always asked for but never received?

Do you know what... I seriously do not think I had one! This might have to be a question I ask my parents, as I really cannot remember having a crazy gift I always wanted. There might have been something to do with Harry Potter? A wand or a broom maybe?

10. What's the best part about Christmas for you?

My favourite part is having all the family all in one place enjoying themselves. It's so rare for my family to all meet up now we've all moved out, so when we do, it's lovely. It's even better if it's family I don't see very often too. It's just a shame it's only one day! I have to work boxing day! *Sad Face!*

I hope you enjoyed this tag. It's got me feeling very festive now! I tag anyone reading this post to answer the questions. I'd love to read them so let me know if you do! I hope this has also got you looking forward to Christmas too!

  1. We always open our gifts on Christmas eve but I kinda want to wait until Christmas morning... I don't know if we will be able to though. I think my husband is working on Christmas so we might just have to open them on Christmas Eve again :( It's okay... it's still fun!

    1. Aw, well I'm sure it'll be just as special Christmas eve! :) We spent Christmas once with a family who usually opens them Christmas eve, so we split them up and half were opened then, and the other half Christmas morning. Yes, definitely still fun! :) x
